THE ART OF PAPER QUILLING
Saturday, November 22, 10:00 am - 12:30 pmStep into the world of Paper Quilling, an art form that has journeyed through time from ancient Egypt, blossomed during the Renaissance, and sailed to America with the Pilgrims. Quilling involves using colorful strips of paper to create mesmerizing designs. As the holidays approach, get creative and craft a stunning, swirling snowflake adorned with a delicate pearl accent while learning how to "quill". Using a variety of quilling techniques and tools, you'll design a freestanding masterpiece that will add a touch of elegance to your mantel, holiday tree, or a festive wreath.
Instructor: Marcy Kaplan, the creative force behind Serial Quiller Creations, is a licensed social worker with over 25 years of experience. An art enthusiast since childhood, Marcy discovered the captivating world of paper quilling and quickly fell in love with the art form. Today, she dedicates herself full-time to crafting exquisite designs and inspiring others to explore this creative and fulfilling art.
